Folkin’ Around in 2009

Probably my most returned to track, from one of my favorite albums of the year is by Mumford and Sons.  The Cave is a good example of a Mumford song, catchy yet a touch dark, and full of literary influences.
It is this literary element that makes “The Bookshop Acoustic Sessions” work so well with their music. The boys tune up and play a set in a tiny, but not cramped, London bookshop. The video is a one camera number that really captures the intimacy of the location.
